Summer Reading Program
The Summer Reading Program runs from June 1st-July 31st. The first prize everyone will earn is a seed bookmark, which can be claimed on or after June 1st.
The program is open to children and teens ages 18 and under. If your child cannot read books alone, read together!
Audiobooks count too! Just record the time you spend listening to them as you would record regular reading time.
Please record reading time in hours.
Patrons without internet access may visit or call the library to register for the program and log reading time.
Readers will be awarded prizes as they reach new levels of time spent reading. The prize levels are 5, 10, 15, 25, 40, 50, 75, and 100 hours. Participants who reach the 100-hour level will be invited to a special party and entered into a grand prize drawing.
Please visit the library to pick up prizes.
You do not have to have a library card or read library books to participate (although we encourage you to do this).
If you have additional questions, please call 501-623-4161.
